Ok, I don't remember the name of this game but it was out for I think maybe Sega Saturn a long time ago? The game was all video, shot in first person camera view, but you could go around and make any choice you want in the game and I specifically remember one option was nuking a small town (seeing all these updates of Fallout 3 reminded me of this game). Sorry I have no other details other than that, but does anyone know the title of this game?
YES! That was it! Thank you! It's been about 15 years since I've even seen the game so it was hard to remember. Wow, searching it brings back a LOT of memories.
Yep, Ground Zero Texas it is but that was only on the Mega CD as far as I know. Not Saturn version that's for sure. My brother used to play that one quite a bit. wasn't it one of the first Mega CD FMV games to use 256 colours on screen at once instead of the standard 64? Yakumo
Yeah it was. I remember it was for a Sega system though. In the States we called it just Sega CD (much like the Genesis instead of Master System) I almost forgot about that console! But yeah that brings back so many memories now. I'm originally from Texas, and when we were playing it we were snowed in (of all the things to happen) so it was a fun day of playing that game.
It was one of my favourite games back in the sega cd days as I was so amazed by the FMV.. I had the same nice memories about it as you do but when I recently found it and played it again.. man I almost cried of the ugly grfx and shitty fmv gameplay lol
The "Genesis" was the North American name for the "Mega Drive". The "Master System" was called the "Master System" worldwide.
I always thought it (Ground Zero Texas) was kinda overrated. I prefer Surgical Strike myself (because it's so incredibly O.T.T.)
