Hi... If I'm playing a PAL rom (i.e. The Firemen) which wasn't officially released in the US on my NTSC SNES, is it running at the right speed? I have a NTSC patch for Terranigma, so I'm assuming it's running at the correct 60hz. Is there an easy way or universal patcher or way to edit the header etc to run games that were only released in PAL territories correctly on a NTSC SNES? Or are they already running correctly? I'm currently using a SuperUFOPro8 and I have a SD2SNES on it's way. Thanks!

The sd2snes has auto region patching meaning it forces it to 60hz when you load the rom (AFAIK), not sure about the ufo though.

if you're on the regular Everdrive there's no region patching as far as i know
i mean that if you are running, for example, Super Punch Out (EU) on a ntsc console the game run faster since the game it's optimized for the pal format
if the game it's not optimized for pal format, this means it run slower that ntsc veriosn since there's no code for that in the rom
when you run that in a ntsc console everything should be running back as it was original intended unless there's something which goes wrong for whatever reason (glicth etc)

yeah there some rare game with speed optimised for 50hrz(super mario kart, fzero, super soccer, super tennis, super aleste...).
other have just some fix for 50hrz like sim city, mario world, starwing/fox.

for firemen, compare the speed with the japanese version.
