    hi all,

i am not new here but i couldn't find an answer for my question. i've a proto tech demo game for the ps1 which never was released. I need money because of the Christmas which ruins me so I want to sell it. I got it from a buddy who worked there as a level designer and was active on this game. He gave me a copy of it for me ( yes, i am allowed to do what i want with this ). Ok, now I got it on a white blank no name cd-r.......and that's my problem ! On ebay it isn't allowed to sell cd-r' with data on it i heard.....is it true ? This was burned for the publisher to demonstrate the game ( tech demo like i said earlier ). So, if I can't sell it on ebay, where else can I do it ?

e-bay generally pulls these sorts of things if you don't label them properly. Do a quick search on e-bay to see what people are labeling their discs as. I can assure you there are a few up on e-bay right now. Take a look at the market place rules and as long as you follow them you should be fine to sell it here, but you may want to pm ASSEMbler or one of the moderators to get approval as well as this is your first post. If its on a generic cd-r coming from an unknown seller, people are going to be hesitant buying from you. Stick around for a while and let people get to know you from your posts and include as much info as you can that can help to prove the authenticity of the disc and you shouldn't have any problems. Pictures help too (of both the disc and screenshots).
What is the game by the way?

    Neat.
I will warn you though that it may not garner high dollar interest as an artist working on the game released it some time ago (a relatively complete version I believe)...plus the version PSmuseum has was aquired for about $50. If you could show differences besides the lack of later features, you may be able to get a better price for it.
