Color me intrigued , I popped in Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence earlier to see how Metal Gear 2 and Metal gear looked on my PS3 hooked up via component on my TV.
(I haven't played them in a few years ,and the last time I did was on an old CRT that was all kinds of fucked up)

And then a thought struck me, these games weren't ported to the PS2 it looks like they are running on an Emulator (due to the presence of the MSX2 Bios I assumed)

Would it be possible to find the roms somewhere on the game disc and use them on an emulator for PC like BlueMSX ?

(which has very nice Monitor emulation options)

Just for the hell of it really, So I popped the disc in my pooter but I didn't see anything obvious that would point to them. And i'm not knowledgeable about this kind of stuff.

I also then noticed in a folder a file called "BGM_2.DAT"

Which I assume contains some of the music for the game.

Is it possible to somehow unpack that as well?

Thanks for reading this insanely stupid post.
And i'm sorry if this isn't in the appropriate section or is against any kind of rules.
