    Few questions:

-First of all, when I try to play GCN and PS2 games (Using the cables that came with it), they are blocky distorted in widescreen. Is there any cables I can buy that will clear it up, or is it just a side-affect of having a wide screen TV? (32 inch widescreen). I was thinking component would clear it up, but I don't want to buy something just for it to not help

-Secondly, isn't the wii set to be used in widescreen ratio? (16:9). Would this just apply to all Wii games, or is it a selective thing?

-Third, isn't the PS3 going to use HDMI? I'm pretty much new when it comes to high definition, but I remember hearing something about it.

On a side note, I am a bit glad I bought my Olevia HDTV. It's pretty much a giant monitor (Since it has a slot for it on the back), which beats using S-Video for low quality.

Well the tv in my living room is hd and does allow you to select the aspect ratio, which for cube and ps2 games would be 4:3, though some games on both systems support it. As for display quality, while component will look better, im not sure if it really improve the quality unless the game support it(progresive scan mode, ie 480p, or up to 1080i like gt4).

While ps2 componet is easy to get, cube on the other hand is going to cost you $40 easily, since the way nintendo disigned them no one has been able to copy it. The hdmi is mainly for if you want the max resoloution of blu ray (1080 p). For wii i belvie it is a selective thing. Congrats on owning an hd display.
