Hi, i remember seeing a 4 discs panzer dragoon game in a shop nearby and i was wondering if there was any other panzer dragoon with 4 discs (or multiple discs) other than panzer dragoon saga? don't remember the name of it and there was no saturn case with it. i don't know alot about these games (well, i don't know alot about the saturn since i started collecting it this summer and never played one before (or touched one)) and i was wondering if the game was as rare as alot of people are saying it is. should i pick it up (like if it was my last chance to see it) considering it doesn't come with a case nor a manual and that it isn't really cheap? i'm sure the game still there, hell! the last time they sold a saturn game was 3 weeks ago when i purshased guardian heroes and it was the first since 4 years. so i don't have to worry at all. (well, i hope!) thx for your help, cahaz.
Go for it. PDS is the only multi-disc Panzer game. You'd still get people on EBay willing to pay good money for it, even disc-only. Hell, people get good money for just selling the first disc that was given away with SSM. If your buying it to play yourself, the in-game tutorials mean you won't even need to look at the manual.
Snap it up, forget the packaging its just a game everyone should experience, one of few i can honestly say i truly loved.
It's not hugely rare, but it is expensive. How much roughly did they want for it? To compare, I sold a copy over the summer of the japanese version, mint and complete with all inlays, for £65 (I wasn't expecting to get that much). The english versions go between £60-100 complete. The value is probably halved by being disc only.
I've seen the artwork and i have this beautiful high resolution watermark drawing of one of the panzers and every time I look at it I feel that I must play it.
they demand 34.99 $ CAN for it, sounds a bit high for a game without box or manual, but if it's one of the only chance i have to play it (i dislike buying things from ebay) i'll take it then.
I guess it is a little high for just the discs... but just take reassurence in the fact that you'd probably end up paying more than that on EBay anyway even for disc only, because so many people would willingly bid for it. IMO the quality of the game itself make it well worth the asking price. Y'know, it's times like this that make me glad I bought the game on release back in 1998. I had no idea it would become quite so big...
i think i'll wait a little, they changes their prices often to make their deals more atractive. It's a dangerous game i know, but like i said earlier, i'm the only one to buy their saturn games here. just hope no one from another area will come in town and take it., but i doubt it will ever hapen.
I thought the same thing before....be careful not to put it off too long or you will lose it forever! (Curse whoever stole that boxed Castlevania Adventure from me >_<

only one, for all i know. :smt009 i already took the best. :-D oh, there's only one panzer dragoon saga , but it's already reserved, sorry. :-D yeah, i hapened to me too, let's hope it won't hapen again for both of us. ;-)
Mate, absolutely DO get that Saga for $35. In fact, I think Yakumo sold his PAL copy discs-only for 35 pounds which is around 50e - its worth more than 35$ CAN I'm pretty sure!
Agreed. If that's more than you want to pay, grab a few games and make them an offer. A lot of indy game shops are flexible, especially with older, out of production stock.
Arggh! you know this board influenced me to buy a DC, A saturn , Guardian heroes and now PDS ? You know you're ruining me? Still, everything you influenced me to buy was enjoyed. ;-) i think i'll pick some games in my collection that i never really enjoyed and echange them for it. :-D thx for the kick in the ass, :-D cahaz
It is a good price for it unboxed, IF it is the US release. If it is Japanese, it ain't worth squat unboxed. It isn't worth much in the box, either! $25 was a good buy still, and #65 was an amazing sale for a Japanese copy.
