well... i went to all the mayor video games and electronics store and non of them had anymore ds's, so i was like dammit >_< and today i went with my mom to buy the groceries to my local walmart and for my surprice they had like 30 ds's so i was like omfg yes!, my question is if ya also have ds's @ your local walmarts and smalls stores or if i am the only one :S, just curious ... they also had like 4000 gta san andreas :smt042
Well I haven't really looked since I'm not that much of a handheld person but I'd imagine that if you look hard enough you'd be able to find a DS before Christmas if yor willing to look hard enough. I'm sure you could get one today if your willing to brave the post Thanksgiving shopping rush but after that it will probably be a week or two for stores to restock.
They have them around here at most places (Target, Best Buy, EB games, etc.) I refuse to shop at Walmart. Fuck Walmart.
Theres no store in a 50 mile radius of my house that has any left. Thank god I have a friend that saved me one and got it to me at a discount at target

Hell, Wal*Mart is the face of America, and that's a face I don't want to be a part of. The general people who shop at Wal*Mart (General is key word here) are those dumb ass security moms, who are too fat for their own good. Look at Wal*Mart, it looks like a fricking cupcake convention!
I got the impression that it's not merely Walmart, but in general those "malls" that spring up on the edge of cities that have spoiled the face of America. Heck, on my trip I saw several city centers having all but withered away because of it (or that's what my dad says). Of course I'm not a resident of the US, but it was quite a bad impression.
You know down in Mexico, near the city of the sun? It's an ancient temple complex that pre-dates the Mayas. Over 2000 years old. You'd think that a place like that would be like a national treasue, have a museam, etc. They are building a fucking Walmart right next door. And I don't mean a few miles away, I mean RIGHT FUCKING NEXT TO A 2000 YEAR OLD PRE-MAYA TEMPLE. Less than 500 feet away. You can't take a picture of the temple without a big ugly walmart in the way. Imagine a Walmart right next to Big Ben, or Stonehenge, the Pyrimids, or the Effiel Tower. While paving the parking lot several ancient burial grounds, sites, alatrs, etc. have been found. But do they care? Nope. just paved right over'em. People in Mexico are throwing themselves in front of the buldosers trying to stop this, but the government down there is bought and paid for and so fucking corrupt they're letting Walmart get away with it. So fuck Walmart, I don't care how cheap thier games are, fuck them and I hope they all die. P.S. Antipasta, your dad is right. Companies (not only Walmart) have the habit of moving in, driving out all the local businesses, and then leaving, turning these places into ghost towns. Out here in Inglewood people kicked Walmart out, and all over the country people are starting to turn against them and other huge conglomerates that use the same business tactics.
Applause :-D :-D But going back to the subject instead of how much walmart sucks(it does and those reasons above are half the reason i dont like the store, im not gonna bother going on a rant) There was a good amound of stock at one of the walmarts in my area(had to go there on an erran today with folks) but it will be the only time i will ever be happy going to a walmart since i was able to pick one up for christmass(cant wait to play it on the 25th). Still i was shocked to see they had 8 in stock, cause eb and gamestop both wont restock untill jan, while best buy doesnt even have a clue when they wil get theres. Well I dont care if i got it at a store i dont like at all, at least i will be getting it earlyer then january(a bit ironic i know since christmass is on the 25th,but since my bday is on the 21st i get the option to play it then if i want) but im glad i was able to get just the thing by itself, cause bastards at ebworld and gamestop are forcing you to get the damn bundles for pre order. anyway......so we dont go too off topic with this, anyone want to start a WALMART SUCKS!!!!!!!!! thread?

Eva01 - sir, you might be right in the fact that it's all about money, but come on! Small towns have poverty because the government steals all and only cares about personal gain. Destroying our country's legacy so some americans and mexican "businessmen" can be richer? Maybe it IS all about the money, but maybe it shouldn't be. Just my two cents on the matter.
