Hi! I was reading the old Assembler ezboard before it got deleted for good, and came across one of your posts. You mentioned an unreleased Saturn game, for which there was a store place card. You even gave this pic of it: (sorry for bandwidth leeching!) You also mentioned that you had e-mailed Pioneer about it, and got bad news. You said that you might put that e-mail up on the site. I took a look around but couldn't find it. Did you put it up? If not, could you tell us what it was about? Oh, and I can get on the board now, thanks
I never wound up posting the email. It was extremely short though, and I could sum it up here in two sentences. "Monica no Shiro was never released for 'various reasons'. As such, there is nobody in charge of the project". (I had asked for contact info of someone in charge) to see what the chances were of someone else buying it. I'd buy the source for a few grand even. Anyways, there's a Japanese site that has a full scan of the flyer and I've put up a non-watermarked (and much larger) version of the place card.
Hey! Stop messing up the layout of my polls! Hehe just kidding Thanks for the info. It is interesting to see those spacer card things. Were they just a bit of card or actually put in a case to look like the game? How many of that card do you think exist? Still a nice collector's piece, surely.
I have no clue how many of them exist, but somewhere around here, I have an entire stack of some... none of them very major games though from what I remember. The stack I got (really cheap) came with a set of Saturn Collection stickers I wanted, as that was at the time I was going to try to do a mod on my Saturn like Yakumo's, but never wound up (succesfully) doing it. I dismantled two gray Saturns... not remembering how to get the damn CD lid back on both times. They're so cheap (free almost) instead of roughing it out, I thought "I'll just try again and pay more attention this time" and never got around to it. As for this specific one... I kinda paid alot for it. I like these kind of things though... hence, the insane flyer collection.
