    :D

OK, I know this is probably a matter of personal opinion, but which is better: Matrix Infinity, or DMS4 Pro? Or is there an even better solution? (these look the best to me)

I was recommended the Matrix Infinity when I asked this in the past. I myself have a Duo2 and I'm not precisely satisfied, especially with the installation.
There's a boot disc, too. It has a card-like thing for the older PS2 but you do have to remove the front door of tray on that machine.

    Both are fantastic chips.

The DMS4 has more features because it was just released. It has a application called Toxic OS, that has it's own HD Loader on it.

The Matrix Infinity is just as good as the DMS4 pro, but you have to install the HD Loader on the Memory Card on run it through a CD.

I have a Matrix Infinity i can say it's fantastic. Works like magic. Even PAL games run perfect with full colors in my NTSC system. Plus it's the most stable and safe modchip as it turns itself off after it recognizes the media.

Like i said both are good, but the DMS4 costs a little bit more (since it's new).

Cool thanks for the replies :)

Virtual Alan, yeah, you're missing the point that I don't have a TEST machine, and I have 30 quid to spend, which would get me a chip but not a test machine ;)

Johnny, I read about a couple of features of the Matrix that I couldn't see on the DMS... such as PS1 import games fix (play NTSC imports full screen in colour on PAL consoles), and a quick boot option that skips the logo and directly loads the game (that last one isn't really an amazing feature!). Does the DMS do the NTSC fix, though?

Thanks, I'll go and check out the links.

Yeah, I'd go with the Pro over the Lite :)

As for buying, the cheapest I've found so far is £28 for the Matrix and £36 for the DMS4 - sound good?

OK price for the DMS, not for the Matrix.
