    Hey,

It is nearly 4pm here in the UK. I just tried to get on my brinkster ftp account, it was unable to resolve the host. Went to the site URL - it wasn't up. Even their site isn't up.

Are you having similar problems? Do you know how long this has been going on for? If its over 99.7% of a month or whatever uptime they promise, I'm complaining! :D

Also, do you have an e-mail address for them?

If it was just for Yakumo, a good ol' PM wouldn't have hurt.

it's 3:50 pm here in Japan and Brinkster is up and running fine. My site is also online and has been all day. Maybe it's just something in your area? Here's the customer suport mail address - Support@Brinkster.com <Support@Brinkster.com>

Yup it was back up here last night, too. Thanks Yakumo.

I dunno that it was something in my area - Brinkster is a US company, I'm in the UK. I just couldn't access my site or theirs - I wonder if they had a temporary problem. I've had it in the past once. Of course, you're right - it could be a DNS issue on my ISP.

Incidentally, to those who moaned at me making this private.....

Were I to see a message from one of you saying your site wasn't working properly, and it was clear the intended recipient wasn't online to answer, I would go to your site (and the site of your host if you mentioned them) to check if it worked for me. I would then say to you - hey mate, its x pm and it does/does not work for me here in England.

Ya know, being helpful rather than critical?

Don't worry about it mate. I guess it could have been asked in a PM but still my PM box was full anyway :p So a thread would be the only option.
