Question in regards to sata and the PS2 network adaptor

and plugged my Corsair X32 into it (or any 2.5" SATA drive) would the PS2 be able to see the drive for use?

 

looks fine- I usually prefer to stick to the bidirectional ones personally- the seller's description doesn't match the title/photos as this is clearly an adapter to convert a 2.5" sata TO IDE... you might want to double-check the ata/power pitch, or you'll have to mod the adapter/run short extension cables.

I really wouldn't bother with a ssd on it- IIRC ps2 only supports ata33 speed.
