Hello, really quick I had just received my Marty system but the ebay seller said that I needed a stepdown converter (from 120V to 100V) I went to Best Buy and Radio Shack looking for the piece, not able to find it. Same goes with the net

I'm asking is it safe for the system to be played on American voltage or can this totally destroy it? (which I dont get cause my Famicom + Disk System works without any special piece)

    Thanks

Nothing runs on 120 does it? US is 110 and we are 220, maybe he meant a 220 to 110

My house runs on 118.... (the electricity added to the house in 1918). If it came from japan (which i would assume it does) you should be fine. Generally 120 would be within tolerances for most power supplies.

Indeed, I run all my Japanese consoles with a EU-to-US (230v to 115v) stepdown converter, and everything works like a dream.
