I'm currently looking for either the file specification on the Nintendo 64 VADPCM format or either the Nintendo 64 sound tools CD. It has two tools in it that didn't come with the psyQ devkit I obtained, VADPCM_ENC and VADPCM_DEC. My reason being that I'd like to extract and or change some sounds around in some older N64 games.

Edit: Mmm maybe my message wasn't interesting enough? It's also going to be used for a PC conversion of a not so popular game that I wont mention yet. ; )

The names mentioned in the manuals are for the SGI tools.

Only a very small subset of the sgi tools were ported to the PC devkit. Only adpcm_enc was ported.

I do have some specs on the AIFC format though.

AIFC specs would be alright, funny foobar2000 couldn't playback any of the files even though it supposedly supports the format. As for the SGI stuff that sounds near impossible to obtain. I don't have an SGI workstation nor do I plan on getting one.

Edit: Nevermind, I went and sent you a PM.
