Started to play Nintendo DS games (better late than never) and I'm mainly focused on mind games. A friend of mine, while a trip in Japan a couple of years ago had made a video from someone playing mental calculation game at the restaurant: Minna de Flash Anzan (you can see this video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnvGHhEoC8Q ) Lurked around to find the game and... WTF ???? Japanese ebay sellers asking 75 $ for a Loose copy , 120 $ for a complete one on Amazon (and let's not talk about sealed copies...) ???? Why on earth is this game so damn expensive ? I understand mental calculation is very popular amongst youngsterns in Japan (the 2012 world champion is a japanese guy btw), but com'on, 75 bucks for a loose copy T_T How much do you think it goes for on yahoo auctions ?
It's only sold through a certain site, IIRC. Those sellers are just jacking the price just like with Amazon Marketplace in the West.
