I mean, besides the keynotes and a few announcements at the TGS, they never actually appear there. Is it because of Spaceworld, or is it another reason?
Well, considering that this year they got more attention than any other company there without even having an official presence, I don't think argument holds. Yeah, it's obviously because of Spaceworld that they don't show at TGS, but why they choose to hold Spaceworld instead of just being at TGS, I don't know. Apparently they think they're better than everyone else. Which is more or less true. ...word is bondage...
actually i belive it has partialy to do with space, in fact nintendo almost didnt go to the first e3 due to the floor space they had, but after the show and the reaction they got at their booth, they were pretty much pleased. So the thing im guessing is they sorta want to have a bit of dominence of their own attention.
I reckon SpaceWorld is too expensive for what it is, and they want to keep the best for E3, where they get most attention.
We have a Theme Park in the area where I work (Kita Kyushu) called Space World I wish it was there where Nintendo showed off their goods. Yakumo
last one was 2001 i think.....nintendo or someone for that matter...each year has said "space world has been delayed this year(insert year here) due (insert reason here)" now they havent said crap about it anymore...yet people still think its gonna happen....
Well if Space World hasn't happened for the last 4 years then I guess my reason of having bugger all to show is the truth Think about it, what do they have to show? Well they could show the New Zelda but they won't and they could show the new Revolution stuff but they won't for some unknown reason. So they've got pretty much bugger all else to show Real shame. Sad thing is if they did have one it mostly be just ds and gba games if anything atm,and they would not show anything on revo really,in fact that show seeemed like it was just made to show off stuff for 64 and nintendos latest, in fact wasnt the last one when they unvield the cube.
I really wish they'd start holding Spaceworld again. I was hoping they'd do it again this year, as I figured that's how they'd choose to show off the new Mario game (which I figured would debut the same time as the controller, wrong again). Oh well...
yeah, but that was at the same show, at the same show they revealed the cube and the gba, cause i remember i was in middle school when the gba came out and at that time all that was aval was playtion, 64, and dreamcast. As well i remember the teaser flyer shown on all the websites that was a close up of a controller for one of them, which it turned out to be the gba i belive.
