p.s. Now I also use these Logitech wireless controllers on my Sega Dreamcast, see below. I just bought a few Logitech wireless receivers for PS2. I can not find much information about PID's for logitech wireless joysticks. Do members of this forum still have Logitech wireless controllers for their consoles ? Could it be possible for you to post your joystick model and pid's ? Not only for Playstation, but also for the original Xbox ? As far as I can tell there are at least 4 different models of Logitech wireless joysticks for PS2. Aside from, case color, button signs, (regional versions ?) any differences ? Picture if possible ? The PID can be found on the underside of the receiver, and on the battery lid of the controller. Is it the original battery lid ? So we can make a list of compatible receiver / joystick combo's ? I have no idea which model of receiver is compatible with what model joystick. As far as I can tell the receiver model number is C-X2C3, for multiple joystick models. The PID makes it unique to a joystick model ? PID's make it a unique combo, not to interfere with two joysticks on one system ? So there are different PID's for the same model joysticks ? I thank you for your time and effort. Edit: I bought another Logitech PS2 wireless controller. The black one on the white background without the receiver (VV751) see picture. This one has PID VV751, this controller works with all the receivers I bought. So PID VV751 works with VV718, VV506, and the receiver with the AEWxxxxxxxx serial. But not on my other Logitech PS2 wireless controller. (147020d953d580c3b.....) picture with PID VV709, grey background with receiver. I also bought 4 Total Control 4's for my Sega Dreamcast. I already opened them and the main chip in it has no markings at all. Probably a specific chip made in China for a specific client, so I doubt these Total Control 4 PS2 to Sega Dreamcast converters, can be DIY build. Similar to these, only mine have also a PS/2 keyboard connection, and a switch for joystick or steering wheel modus. Nice for typing of the dead with a wireless PS/2 keyboard. https://segaretro.org/Total_Control_Plus These Logitech wireless joysticks work fine on the Sega Dreamcast, even the rumble function. Analog modus of the joystick has to be on when the game boots. Otherwise the VMU is not recognised. The front L2 and R2 buttons are digital, but the right analog stick on the Logitech wireless controller works as the analog triggers of the Sega Dreamcast controller. So forward on the Logitech right analog stick is the Sega Dreamcast joystick right trigger. (Gas) And backwards on the Logitech right analog stick is the Sega Dreamcast joystick left trigger. (Brake) Similar to the Gran Turismo setting on the Playstaion ? Works very good for me, better ergonomics than a Sega Dreamcast controller. And wireless. Logitech joystick analog sticks out of whack, not working properly ? Recalibrating the Logitech PS2 wireless controller analog sticks can be done by removing one battery. Pressing L1 + L2 and inserting the battery. Do not move the analog sticks while you insert the battery. Voila, 2 wireless controllers for my PC (through a usb converter) and my PS1, PS2 AND Sega Dreamcast !!! On to 2 more !! EXCELLENT !!! Yes I know there are other wireless options for the Sega Dreamcast. But this was for me the cheapest option, p&p from the other side of the world can become expensive. http://www.dreammods.net/dreamconn.html https://www.retrorgb.com/dreamport-sega-dreamcast-bluetooth-power-supply-upgrade.html https://www.gamespot.com/gallery/check-out-wireless-sega-genesis-saturn-and-dreamca/2900-1747/11/ But still not on their site. http://retro-bit.com http://www.brookaccessory.com/detail/47613739/
