Some PSX Debug units come with Security Hangers. What do these do? Will they prohibit me from playing anything on them? Can i take them out?

The metal things? They let you chain the systems to your desk.

that's interesting actually... AFAI only Apple used to have that feature with its Macintosh lines... not sure what's it like with latest offering since I stopped upgrading at PowerMac 7100... I need new PC... :smt022

  6. 'Security hangars' don't nessicarily have to be the user-friendly, easy dealies on Apple hardware. I've seen things that consist of a little plastic loop and an adhesive tempered in the bowels of hell that is just stuck to the side of a DVD player, etc. Then again, I've also seen things where the chain is bolted directly to the outer case of hardware. Ouch.

Well I'll safely take mine out. I have the proper solvents to take out strong adhesives.

Be careful, as you can see from the hole debug, the glue is strong... stronger than the plastic hah.
