(Quickie) Perfect Dark = $10 Brand New Condition

I never finished Perfect Dark, but dayum, that game was so ahead of it's time. Missions changed drastically depending on what difficulty you played on, it had lengthy, fully voiced cutscenes with surround sound and such (on the N64!), widescreen and high-res support, shitloads of unlockables (couldn't you unlock the guns from Goldeneye, or was that just a rumor?), and the multiplayer's more customizable than a lot console multiplayer games released today. Such a badass game.

Also, I think you can turn the blood off, or, at least, enable paintball mode. I know there's an option to turn off the swearing though, if you're into that sort of thing. There's no cheesy censoring either, they just say different lines of dialogue.

 

Thats right, you can turn off cussing and turn on paintball mode. I used those as an excuse when I was a kid.

 

THat's what I liked about the game when I was younger. I thought it was awesome, lol.

 

PD has AGED. A lot. Its not nearly as good as when it came.
Try staring a multiplayer game and throw in some bots. You will wind up with a frame rate less than the lamest powerpoint presentation.
Still. Counter-Co-Op is the coolset multiplayer mode ever.

 

reason being for the small amount of blood in halo - you're wearing armor. If you shoot the alien or your own soldiers there's the same amount as in PD.

 

Yup, thats right. I think it just stands out more with the old graphics.
