I've seen replacement fans for sale, but are there any that are quieter than the stock DC cooler?

lol kuji... also you may want to look into the original fans on the japanese model DC... they were built out of metal and not plastic... they were also slightly quieter (even though my USA console was pretty quiet...)

I did that too with mine. I put a blue led fan with a control switch on the back it was pretty cool back then.

The fan in my DC is whisper quiet. The optical drive is the loud part.

It's more the drive, that's for sure. My USA Dreamcast is rather quiet when not reading GDs.

I have a Japanese DC, and it uses the same fan as the US DC. It might just be launch DCs that have a metal fan.
