R.I.P. Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, 1937-2005

Discussion in 'Off Topic Discussion' started by Greatsaintlouis, Feb 21, 2005.

  1. AntiPasta pointed out to me today the death of the great Hunter S. Thompson, known for his wildly eccentric brand of journalism that became famous in America through his articles in Rolling Stone magazine, his many books, and in Bill Murray and Johnny Depp's frighteningly accurate portrayals in Where The Buffalo Roam and Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, respectively. He shall be missed.

It's really, really sad news. Bill Hicks and Hunter Thompson both in their graves. Who's going to tell the truth now?
