Recently got a gameboy/gameboy color dumper along with this cartridge. I believe there was another user on here that had this exact cartridge along with a few others that said he was going to eventually dump them, but as it turns out, he coincidentally has the same name as the ebay seller who sold this to me. Bad news, buddy. This is the commercially released version of R-Type for USA/Europe. Cool cart though!
Did you do a compare? I've had discs labeled 'for review' that had some extras left on there that were removed in the final. Thanks for the release. I'm glad not everybody wants to hoard their collection.
I've played for about 15 minutes and i didn't see some major differences, but i feel something is different on the gameplay... Thanks for the dump!
