    Hiya,

in somewhat of a brash mood I bought a Sega ST-V Titan motherboard today, with a few games. The store where I got it (PCB Shop in Akihabara) also had a Radiant Silvergun cartridge for 10000 yen, which at that moment didnt seem a good idea to buy. However, as usual, I started doubting my decision on the way back... just did a google search, found 2 websites selling the game, one for 199e and one for $158!
The Saturn version of the game is 14,800 yen here at least...
I know its kind of odd to ask, but what would you do in my situation?

By the way, I also remember months ago that someone offered a RSG cart for 40 quid in here, and I remember Trigga bought it... anyone know what I`m rambling about?

  2. I'd finally build that supergun I've been meaning to do.

  3. Well, if ya can afford it.... :smt040 :smt023 Just keep in mind that the arcade version of RSG differs from the Saturn in that it doesn't have any of the story/cutscene elements, and is also missing 3 levels or so from the Saturn version. (I believe, I could be wrong.)

Although the differences between the arcade and saturn are minor, the STv system's graphics are definetly crisper and to me the whole game just seems smoother on STV.

Also the cutscenes are pretty pants anyway, just a few pics and stuff for the saturn exclusive mode.I'd go for the cart f you have the setup neccesary to play it with as well,eg you have a supergun or jamma cabinet to play your stv on.

I love RSG,I just cannot get enough of it,I wish it had a higher resolution though and I feel it would benefit from being remade on the Ikaruga engine. It really was a tour de force for the saturn though when it came out as it does shit only treasure could get out of that machine.

You must really like buying stuff at tourist prices.

There's not much choice anymore. A trip to Akihabara usually yields me about 3-4 games on a good run (and that's looking pretty much everywhere).
