Hi guys, I'm having a very weird problem on my everdrive. The game starts, but after a while it locks up. At first I thought this was happening only with Barver Battle Saga, because it's an unofficial game. But after a while I tried playing Air Busters and the same thing happened. I'm not sure if this might have to do with the firmware update as I recently updated from OS 2.3 to OS 2.8. Any ideas as to how I might solve this?
You mean OS v23 to OS v28. Also the operating system is not the firmware. Two different things. I would suggest posting more information like PCB version and firmware version as well. This can be found in Tools > Device Info.
I'm using a Sega Genesis model 1. It's not modified, besides from being transcoded to Pal-M. My Everdrive is 2.4 PCB with firmware 13. I'm not sure, because I haven't played enough, but it looks like the problem is caused by Hard Reset being off. I turned it on and have been playing for more than 30 minutes without any incident.
