    anyone remember puzzle bubble arcade?
you know the one where you shoot to coloured balloons...
my wife is mad about those kind of games and when we were watching TGS 2004 Xbox demo disc she went nut on Puzzle Bubble Online.

I myself thought it has the potential to become popular XLIVE titles - only if it gets to be released outside Japan. As I haven't heard about it other than Japan I'm not sure whether there's a plan for US/EU release but seeing how import friendly it will be don't see any reason why it won't get released overseas...

fighting Puzzle Bubble over XLIVE with her friends missus will go nut... :p

on another topic they had short clip on Xbox web cam. Looks quite cool although I wish they came up with wireless version - I know the cost factor will dictate there will be no wireless release...

And Phantom Dust looks amazing... Can't wait to get my hands on one...
Also Metal Wolf Chaos from FROM SOFTWARE looks promising although only one level demo doesn't give much insight into the game play...
still US president as one man army against terrorists who took over US?
    What a concept!
What will they think of next... multi player brawl with world leaders where Bush with our little johny as a side kick fights Mr Kim of N.Korea perhaps? :) I for one love to see that...

    cheers

    You gotta get it DJ

I'll play you on live. It's really great, but like I said no Bub or Bob :( that's where they really messed up.

but there's no lag on live, and the game modes are great I've unlocked 2 playable characters so far, and the music is pretty catchy too.

Yeah, but I think all of those are crap. Pop 'n' Pop is a Taito puzzle game, w/ characters from a lot of their franchises. Kinda like Tetris meets Puzzle Bobble.

Yeah, it's a Taito F3 game. I picked up the PSX version on my last, tearful run through Akihabara for the low price of 1700 yen. Some geezer has had one on YJ for 2300 yen for a while. If you wait, you could probably get it for 600 or so. The F3 cartridge is dirt cheap as well... or of course, the free rom.

So how'd you like the game?

missus just loves this game. And now I'm hooked too thanks to her.

Before our daughter was born we regularly had competition between two of us who can beat other's score with this one and original Tetris... :p

another her favourite is the fishing game where you dump the fish to match three in a pair so you can lure them up and etc. unfortunately the sound isn't emulated on MAME - apparently no one has figured out how the sound chip works or something.. Still she reckons lack sound helps her to concentrate more on the screen...
