Rare Gameboy on eBay

I thought someone might care, not mine, but I found the auction:

I don't think they're as rare as he makes it out to be. They were sold nationally in the UK from what I recall, and possibly here too.

 

Meh, not rare, and not boxed!!!

 

This is the first time I've seen one on ebay. Then again, I don't really look for it. How common is a boxed one?

eBay should charge for the use of the word rare! Then only TRULY rare things would get listed.

Bizarrely enough, this seems to be the same pic by the same seller, but the 1st one isn't a relist as he gave positive feedback. He must be sitting on them!

Boxed, well boxed original gameboys are kinda scarce, especially the "limited" ones, so it would be worth a bit more. As you can see, unboxed you're lucky to get a fiver.

uhm btw. i saw a gameboy light / gold on ebay going for 199$ are they any kind of rare or was it just a fluke in the matrix?

 

Just a freak auction the gold & silver ones are the most common so not worth as much.

 

Didn't the man u ones come with a game?
