I recall them going for less than that in the past, though I admittedly haven't seen a Claire one up in awhile either

Price is too high - you can get a red Biohazard DC much cheaper in Japan / on Yashoo auctions.

It's the blue Biohazard variant that sells for a ton of cash... Not the red one.

You see lot of expensive limited edition Dreamcast consoles on eBay (almost all of them are available now...) but I don't see anyone actually buying them?! I think the prices may have skyrocketed, but the customer base has also gone down dramatically as a result.

    Would you pay 8000 Euro's for a custom 78?!

That ones been listed for god knows how long? I wonder what the fees would be to keep relisting it? Funny thing is, I remember just a few years ago that the average price for the custom 78 was around 1500 Euros... Likewise, all the other limited editions could be had for a quarter (or a third) of the price they're being sold for now.

What is that guy thinking??? The price isn't 8000, it has never been anywhere close to that! And who would seriously pay another 6000 Euro after he paid 2000 for the ebay auction? How, anyway? The seller probably wants it to be send to his step-grandfather in Nigeria because he needs a new lung until next Tuesday. Oh man.

I don't think the prices skyrocketed that much. The last Maziora-Dreamcast I saw on ebay went for 3000$+ or so. That's a much more than five years ago, but it seems realistic considering what comparably rare items go for (i.e. the Navi Saturn).
