Rare not for sale Psvita?

Years ago i came across a random psvita listing on ebay and it mentioned that the psvita is used at trade shows or something. So naturally i bid on it thinking nothing of it...without knowing there was no info on this model.I was a bid war till like 3am and lost without ever seeing this model ever again.

Anywho...does anyone know anything or have this model psvita?

I have this. It was from the CES 2012 trade show. It is a pre production model, before it passed FCC testing.

One of the chips on the motherboard has a different model number, the message on the back states it hasn't passed FCC yet, and the different model number for the unit itself. Otherwise it's basically the same, it's what they would call a "Final Prototype", mostly final design just waiting to pass certifications.

That's interesting what's the story with yours? Looks like it's from after it passed FCC certification, so maybe a demo unit or something? Is the model number also CEM-3000NP1, or the retail PCH-1001? (It's covered by your username)
