    Hi guys!

Can i get a price check please.

I have 2 items to check here, first item is a Signed Mouse Matt (signed by Rare Employee's 24 signatures in total). The signatures are fading a little but still a great item.

Second item may be a little more special. Its a print test for the collectors edition of Perfect Dark 0. This print is on tin and is marked with the following "PDZ Front Black" and "PDZ Front Printing Tin Test(Black).indd and is dated 6/13/5 12.29pm. This is 5 months prior to the game, or the consoles launch!

    Now some pictures.

Very nice items! PDZ sadly isn't as popular as Perfect Dark, but amazing you own this stuff, love the mouse pad :)

Thanks man, yeah they are pretty cool. Memorabilia isnt my thing at all though. Has anyone got any examples of autographed promotional material and/or Test runs of boxes etc etc?

I must admit, i did think of getting them framed and throwing them up on the wall or something, but if they are of value they should really go to someone who has more appreciation of the items.

Wow, those are really nice items! Back when there weren't ridiculous amounts of collector's editions of Xbox 360 games, I used to collect them - in particular, the PDZ tins. They were cheap and I wanted all the cards. I think I got 5 or 6, but not all of them.

To be fair, I really enjoyed the game! Sure, it wasn't as good as the original, but it was still pretty playable.

Anyway, back to the question. And I'm afraid it's not easy to answer, but at the same time, easy.

As with anything (especially one-of-a-kind items), these are worth..... what someone is prepared to pay for them!

Yes, it's probably too early to get a huge amount for PDZ items. There are people interested in RARE, though. It would either be a case of ask what you want for it and see if there are any takers, list it on eBay and see what it fetches, or keep it, appreciate it, and perhaps consider selling it sometime in the future, when it's had a chance to appreciate in value. You're talking in the same area as cover art for games and comics and animation cels, really - big titles go for big money, but less popular titles are fairly easy to pick up for not a lot. A Disney or Simpsons cel will cost you hundreds, maybe thousands. I've picked up cels from Eighties television cartoons in the £10 region.

The signatures look more like they're rubbing off than fading - that's a pretty poor surface to adhere ink to, especially felt tip, so the ink never fully adhered to the surface and is delicate (it does say on the back it's designed to be wiped). Be careful what you put on top of it, and be careful leaving it exposed to sunlight! Unfortunately, that means framing it might not be the best idea. You would probably need to use glass that protects from UV, and not have it pressed against the glass, in case the ink transfers to the glass. That would probably mean a deeper frame and mounting it somehow - which could damage the back of the item.

The tin front would look nice framed. You might even be able to lay a mount over it without damaging it - that would be nice, especially if you had the mount printed up nicely with the logo. Perhaps even the unused earlier concept logo, if that's your thing?

Thanks for the info, right now i have them packed up, to protect the items ive got them between nice clean white paper and out of the way of any nasty UV.

The signatures are quite faded towards the centre which is a shame, the tin test is in perfect condition though. Perhaps when the markets pick up a little and people have a bit more fun money i will put them on ebay and see if anyone bites.

Thanks for the info though, id never of even thought of it in that way!
