I'm cataloging all UMD PSP releases in NA, including Standard releases, Greatest Hits, Favorites, Limited/Premium/Special/Collectors Editions, and any extras such as UMD recalls (such as Blood Bowls first print run). I'm looking for actual pictures (no stock photos) of titles before including them. I've already completed the list of different titles available, and am now trying to determine what variations are available.

These are all one's that supposedly exist but I haven't found proof of yet, I was wondering if anyone here can confirm they exist:

    Greatest Hits:
    -300: March to Glory
-Call of Duty: Roads to Victory
    -Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep
    -LocoRoco 2
    -MotorStorm: Arctic Edge
    -Need for Speed: Undercover
    -Patapon 2
    -Patapon 3
    -Rock Band Unplugged
    -Sega Genesis Collection
    -Silent Hill: Origins
    -The Sims 2
    -Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow
    -Tomb Raider: Legend
    -Tomb Raider: Anniversary
    -WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010
    -WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011

    Favorites:
    -Atari Classics Evolved
    -Burnout Legends
    -Buzz! Master Quiz
    -Capcom Classics Collection: Reloaded
    -Capcom Classics Collection: Remix
    -Dark Stalkers: Chaos Tower
    -DJ Max Fever
    -Dungeon Seige Throne of Agony
    -Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
-Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
    -Justice League Heroes
    -Kingdom of Paradise
    -Need for Speed: Most Wanted
    -Manhunt 2
    -Medal of Honor: Heroes
    -Midway Arcade Treasures: Extended Play
    -Mortal Kombat Unchained
    -Patapon 2
    -Pinball Hall of Fame
    -PixelJunk Monster Deluxe
    -Sid Meier’s Pirates!
    -Silent Hill: Origins
    -Syphon Filter Dark Mirror
    -The Sims 2
    -The Warriors

If you need help of any sort, I would be very willing to contribute. I've been looking for a thorough PSP release list for some time now.

I haven't posted the list anywhere yet, but I plan to do so as soon as it's complete. Then if anyone sees something I missed they can post about it and I'll add it :) It's all about confirming variations atp, including Greatest Hits, Favorites, Limited/Premium/Special/Collectors Editions, and misc versions like with Blood Bowl (whos first print run had such major bugs that a replacement program was done for affected customers).

I actually looked for a good collectors guide like this before too, but as far as I can tell there is nothing out there for PSP, at least nothing accurate and/or thorough.

Anyhow, I've added a bunch of Favorites to the list if anyone can confirm those. I've noticed that their seem to be two variations on favorites as well: One in English, and one in both English and Spanish. Right now I'm assuming all Favorites have both variations, just shipped based on based on the prevalence of Spanish speakers in any given State, so I'm not listing them separately. An example of a Spanish/English version:

I can say with certainty that its not Spanish on the Daxter game. Pretty sure that's French.

Oh, is it? I just assumed it was Spanish as that's rather common in some of the lower States like Florida.

Does anyone have any info on these? Like what regions they are for (Canada maybe?), is there any other differences with the game packaging like multilingual booklets, do all Favorites releases have both versions or is it only for certain games, etc.

The Essentials lineup is Europe-exclusive afaik, so it doesn't really count for this list. I'll look into those if I ever make a EUR UMD release list though.

Being French, I'd assume that it's intended for sale in Canada... Not sure why they would seem popular in southern states though, unless there was a warehouse closeout at some point, and there wasn't any concern over the 'region' the game was intended for...

That makes a lot sense, seeing as the same game is often shipped to the US and Canada. If I'm not mistaking, don't favorites consist of old stock stuck into a sleeve?

The Favorites label sometimes gets put on as a sticker until the actual packaging is changed to have it instead. I've seen the same thing done with Greatest Hits on PS3.

In fact, if you want to be REALLY specific, there are at least five versions of the Favorites label including stickers, half-bar standard, half-bar dual-language, full-bar standard, full-bar tri-language. I've haven't seen a full bar "Favorites" label that was multilingual, but they probably exist.

    Here's an example of a full-bar tri-language favorites release: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ben-10-Ulti...4917?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item4607f60725
I didn't realize it till now, but the Greatest Hits line also has multi language labels: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PSP-games-lot-/321011725980?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4abdca369c

Edit: It looks like there's going to be at least one more UMD release by Aksys games. This could very possibly be the final UMD game in NA: http://www.siliconera.com/2012/10/30/hakuouki-warriors-of-the-shinsengumi-headed-to-north-america/

I've been keeping an eye on ebay for the different variations and updating it from time to time when I find a favorites release that I didn't know about otherwise. I've also noticed that aside from Greatest Hits, Favorites, special first-run prints, and language variations, some games get different covers with awards and the like listed on them, such as syphon filter LS:

Anyhow, I don't want to release it until there are no more UMD games coming out, which atm looks like will happen once Aksys releases that one game I posted about above.

Hey does anyone know if "Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do To Deserve This?" the original got a UMD release in NA? I know the sequel did, but despite the first being listed in a few places (Amazon) I've yet to see a copy.
The PAL version is easy enough to find, but atm it looks like they got it while NA didn't get access to it on UMD until the bonus copy that was included with the sequel.

It did not see release in UMD form. It was released on PSN. At one point NIS took preorders for it on UMD and were going to release it if a certain number of copies were preordered by a certain date. They didn't get enough preorders, so they instead included the game on the same disc as the sequel.
