Now we all knwo sports titles are a loss and pretty worthless when it comes to selling them. But im currious are there any sports titles actualy worth something. I know you have the rare neo geo aes title ultima 11 euro copy. Then there nba 2 ball on ps1. So are there relly any other actualy sport titles that are worth something.

Only one I can think of is Madden '96 for the Playstation. Was never released but I believe it was completed and betas have made it into the wild.

Virtual Open Tennis for Saturn is kinda rare, or Winning Post.

But the prices are still kinda low, because nobody gives a sh*t about Tennis or Horse Racing, on the Saturn anyway. Winning Post is among the rarest US games for the Saturn.

NCAA College Basketball 2K3, only a limited amount of copies were ever produced (remember reading something about 2000 or 3000 copies). On the Saturn, the US version of 3D Baseball is pretty rare, but nobody pays much for it.

I second Winning Post. Almost all of the good horse racing sims were realesed in Japan only and very few were translated into english. The PS1 and PS2 had quite a few sequels to Winning post, but I only think 3 or four got english translations.

Championship Hockey for the Sega Master System is pretty uncommon and can be quite pricey for an sms game. It was released unfinished if I remember correctly and you could score from pretty much anywhere as long as it was on target.

There is also a World Championship Soccer 2 variation for Sega Megadrive which has the later blue border style artwork (DrDoak has a copy in his collection which is probably pictured in his collection thread - http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10940&highlight=ninjabearhug ). I am unsure of the exact number of known copies but I know the last one sold went for a lot of $$$$

I think there's 4 known copies, but it could be 3 I'm not sure what happened to one of them ;). The last copy sold went for a lot less than I paid too, but it was a private sale so that's to be expected, no hype.

I suppose Ultimate Soccer for the SMS should get a mention, I'd say it was one of the rarer SMS games, but it never seemed to reach more than 4 or 5 GBP when I was searching for it. It might reach more nowadays ;-).
