this can't be Rarer Than Nintendo's Stadium Events can it? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pokemon-Fan...-LOOKIE-/371056482138?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276 i own 2 of these and if it is Rarer Than Nintendo's Stadium Events im going to have to sell them [h=1][/h]
£100,000.00 For that piece of shit? I wouldn't say it rare than stadium. No such thing as a fact. Opinion are opinions.
I dunno. I always thought marketing teams blundered that era. Look how hard to find Johto Journeys DVDs are, or the Crystal edition Gameshark.
Rare does not money equal I guess the eBay seller has put it in the title as it is the rare game that people have heard of. I'd say there are plenty of things that are rarer than Stadium Events too, especially with the sheer number of video games available now, doesn't mean they are desirable, nor valuable.. Stadium Events is a strange one for me, I have absolutely no desire to own it, nor would I be impressed to see it, yet a shelf covered in say Zelda or Metroid releases, easier to find, cheaper to buy, would impress me much, much more..
I agree. Stadium Events is a very strange one for me, too... I kind of understand the deal with the NWC carts, but even those are overpriced in my opinion. A true prototype cartridge or something you cannot just buy or trade with random people should be worth more than something over a hundred people have in their hands.
Aye, as I keep on telling people in the pinball world, rarity != value or even a decent game. And a game is worth precisely what someone is prepared to pay for it, not "I saw one listed for £2,000 so mine is worth £2,000"
I really don't get Stadium Events/NWC. Stadium Events is essentially the same as World Class Track Meet (which was on a 3 in 1 cart with SMB/Duck Hunt), and the NWC games are all easily available. I mean, I get the fact that they're rare, but some people are paying astronomical values for them, and you can theoretically get a complete NES collection without the NWC carts (as they were never commercially released).
I think we can honestly say that one of those that actually SELLS for $100,000 is rarer than a Stadium Events cart.
Here are two other NES carts rarer than Stadium Events. Like Stadium Events the titles were issued by multiple companies but unlike Stadium Events no one cares.
Oh no, your copy of Wally Bear is missing the PUSH HERE sticker I only know about that thanks to the AVGN.
