Rarest thing you own thread

Is there any chance you could post some screenshots in the 'unreleased games' forum? I'd love to see this early version... I still vividly remember the first time I saw the original GTA on the ps1.

If it's a chore, that's cool.. I realise you may not have a ps1 hooked up now!

hmm the rarest thing that i own,my boxed super a'can (actually it's the only rare console that i own up to this point)

(as you can see from the photos,it's in rather good condition [ the scratches under the trap door were caused by me :redface: ] ,i can't say the same for the box but i'm very happy to have one even in this condition)

in case that the retail price is not known yet,i think that i can help with this photo,the price tag (at the lower right corner) says that it was sold for 2980 (possibly taiwan new dollars)

-indiana jones e a ultima cruzada (tec toy release for master system) re-release version brand new
-swagman for saturn complete

 

Acans are beautiful systems. Can't wait until emulation is finally working properly and can play some of the games!

 

Be prepared to be disappointed. In terms of quality the games land closer to "pirate original" than "commercial game".

 

I have many rare editions and press kits, almost all of them are european PAL versions as I mainly collect PAL stuff. I'm not sure which one's the rarest thing I have, but I'll list a few:

- Ghost Hunter Press kit, which seems to be one of the rarest press kits ever made. i actually have two of these and the first seller told me there were only four made. I saw one on ebay that I lost so that makes three and I really don't believe there are only 4. That's nearly impossible unless I am very luck, which I highly doubt.
- All the known commemorative editions of games for ps1 and ps2, including a limited Edition Hardware Online Arena which is the number 1 of only 100 that exist.
- Gran Turismo 4 Limited Edition boxset number 1 of 4000
- Uncharted 2 Fortune Hunter Edition
- Alien Hominid Eurogamer Edition number 7 of 100 and the Alien Hominid Press kit with a very similar case
- Ecco the Dolphin Limited Edition for Mega Drive and Donald Duck Lucky Dime Caper Limited Edition for Master System
-Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 liverpool edition (never found any info about this) for the Xbox360
-All the confirmed portuguese purple Master System games and the purple Master System III Compect Console.

 

my collection isn't very big, probably my Tapwave Zodiac2 system

 

I actually forgot that I also have an Xbox Pepsi Hulk, which seems to be rare.

The rarest thing I own is a DSi XL Pokémon World Championship '10 (a prize for the best 112 players)


I collect mainly Metal Gear items, I own for example the two Konamistyle PSP package (Portable Ops & Peace Walker), an Hagane PS3 system, the Gold Package with all the inside items sealed.. But the not very common I think is my Twin Snakes PAL ITA still factory sealed :love2:
I also love Ryu Ga Gotoku saga.. And I think that this bundle too is not very very common:

 

my resident evil r.p.d. jacket paid 800. for it. its the first one taht was out in 95 old as hell, and im not the skinnest guy but it fits thank god, lol

 

I'm a beginner collector. First I wanted to mention Vectrex, but I think my Famiclone Micro Genius IQ-2000 with 2 infrared gamepads is much more rare

I have a working copy (with boot disc) of the last English localized version of Geist Force.

(used to work for Sega).

 

Can you post a picture of Geist Force working on your TV sort of like this? Or even better, a video of it in action?

i would also like to see the game running, instead of all the videos we all watched.

what´s on the disc? artwork?
Is that some kind of Press Kit?

 

It's only a promotional DVD which shows a HG/SS ad.. It's linked with the Arceus distribution

 

I guess the rarest thing I own, gaming-wise, is my boxed super-red PS2. I got it with the fitting controller, its box with the super-red sticker, and sealed bags of paperwork and cables. ray:



I got it pretty cheap. It was 90 Euro. Once, so the story was told to me, it belonged to a manager at sony austria, who gave it to a friend, who sold it to me, saving up for a ps3. I was pretty surprised when I got the whole box and about 20 promo-discs with it.

I use it for daily gaming. :dance:
