I'm unsure if it plays games, I haven't managed to get it to turn on unfortunately. Honestly not sure if they have shown it off. It's a prototype kit so I wouldn't of thought so but I could be wrong
The rarest thing I own has to be my Sony KV-27FV310 CRT TV. It has a reputation as the best consumer grade CRT ever made, and the only one with a high-voltage regulator. The high-voltage regulator basically eliminates any geometry distortion and/or blooming associated with high brightness/contrast images. Drove 8 hours round trip to buy it for $15 off of OfferUp. After much tweaking, it does not disappoint and produces a beautiful image, especially for 240p games. Mega Man X
Right now, by far, the Sony GSBox, the prototype of the GSCube. There is a good chance this is the only one that survived, and even if there are others, they only made 20 or so, apparently...
These are the rarest items I own. Got lucky on the Gran Turismo 4 Online Test Version for 6 bucks at a local game store.
SONY KLV-15AP2 LCD TV with Net Yaroze connected using the VMC-AVM250 AV Multi cable for 240p@15KHz glory.
A boxed GameKing II handheld console from Asia. Bought it in around 2006, btw the black chipped areas inside the screen were by unknown causes (haven't used it for a very long time, but tested recently and still works, including the cartridge it came with.) Spoiler: Photos
an amiibo store display and complete wii u store kiosk! Husband recently acquired them from his job and, well, brought them home knowing I'm an absolute sucker for these kinds of things haha. They need a little bit of work but for the most part are functional! Hopefully soon I can get them both up and running Spoiler: pictures!
Eight 3DO M2's. 7 arcade boards and a kiosk. Plus the Cirrus Logic M2 powered gpu. That seems to be 1 of 1 at this point.
A T-shirt from the Primal Rage Sega Channel contest. So far as my research says, they gave away 25 of them. No idea how many were made. Also own a backstage pass from a TLC concert sponsored by the service and a weird driver test card
