Well, I finally sold my PS3 for $380 + Shipping, and decided to use it to rebuild some of my collection. Here is what I bought (Note that the shipping has already been added to the final price):

PS2 Slim and AC Adapter: 90.00. Since I only ever used my PS3 for PS2 games, I figured that I might as well pick up a slim unit for the smaller TV I am getting for christmas.

Entire GCN Resident Evil set: 120.00. Not bad, since Code Veronica + 2 and 3 can go for just $100 at times on ebay. I already have Remake, and 4 for the Wii so I might sell those once I got them.

Metal Gear Solid 20th Anniversary collection: 62.00. This is a really good deal, since this comes with all the Japanese Metal Gear game on the Playstation/PS2/PSP. Other sets are going for $100.00 after shipping.

MGS3: Subsistence: 27.00. I sort of kick myself for this one, since I saw new versions in the store going for $14.00 new back a few months ago. I had to sell my old copy when I sold the Limited Edition pack on ebay, so I have been wanting to get it back for some time.

MGS2: Substance (Xbox): 7.00. Since I am trading a whole bunch of my Xbox games, I wanted to re-pick this one up.

Atomic Purple N64 Controller: 8.99. Not bad, since all the local stores wanted $15.00 for a used N64 controller, and my old one broke.

Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES, with box and instructions): 13.00. I thought I got a pretty good deal, since others were going for $25.00-$30.00 with the same stuff.

I also picked up Steel Batallion for $114 and Zelda: Master Quest and Wind Waker for $30.00 a few days ago. Personally, I think I did pretty well, since I can sell the majority of the stuff I got for a profit if I decide to sell it again.

Sounds good to me. You're going to have a fun holiday season. :)

I can't really speak for the non-Xbox stuff as I'm very knowledgeable about PS2 and GC stuff. But for STEEL BATTALION, you did a great job. Play it, it's great provided you have the space to store the humongous controller.

sorry to come in as a killjoy, but if you really looked around, Gamestop sells SB for $50(bought at least 3 of them at that price myself.)...

Very nice. I've never seen SB at any Gamestop around here. =( I have a friend who bought it when it came out though, it's a beast.

So you didn't get that hentai thingy?

Around here, Steel Batallion is very rare and expensive. Last time there was one in stock, it was in 2006 for about $120 at the local Gamestop. Yeah, I got the box as well in addition to the all the manuals and stuff.

Nah, I thought about it and decided that $150 would be my limit for this sort of thing. The auction got up to $152.00 and ended, so the seller didn't meet his reserve. I'd still gladly buy it from him for $150 if he accepts my offer.
