I think this beta build was already leaked or at least a similar one exists on the internet. I'd like to see more of that though... but according to these screenshots and the description, it looks like the prototype we already have.
I know a Sega Saturn prototype dating 1995/07/20 leaked a few months back if thats the one you are thinking of
A Saturn prototype would probably be a bit from the Jaguar prototype, cause they both have different level design in final.
Haha, I sold this prototype few weeks ago. I wonder how much the owner have paid for it. Just hope he doesn't pay too much ! I wasn't able to test it as I don't own a Jaguar. But this cart comes from THQ headquarters, not ubisoft. I got it in a prototype lot from THQ. I am still in contact with the seller if more informations is needed on it
You should see the Jaguar Pro controller. It has 6 buttons instead of 3, and 2 shoulder buttons. It's a remarkable improvement, but they are more rare than regular controllers and can go for a bit on ebay.
Still hoping someday we get to see the SNES version. I'm expecting this one here is just the same as one of the two already dumped. He might make a video soon he says, so that will help at least.
Speaking of Rayman prototypes, I just found this old scan I had lost sometime ago. Rayman looks similar to what's seen in the SNES iteration when his sprite was smaller. One can only hope all these early builds can someday be enjoyed by the rest of us.
First time I see these sprites too. Looks like early Jaguar Development, the tileset for the forest is present and complete, though there's this water reflexion that is absent in every version of the game, and that big flower thing is absent. I hope someone will find this proto.
