I really don't like Leon's STARS costume. Makes him look like a mall security guard.

regarding the blur-fest comment..well, just remember the PSX version. The n64 ver. +expansion pak was even better than the PC ver. at the time, i haven't seen the DC version so that might be the "definitive" version. This of course also came out on the GC, although i have no idea how sharp/good it looks.

The DC version is very sharp but the low polygon models really make it look crap after playing the likes of Code Veronica.

Seemed like the Character models benefited the most from the Expansion pack.. TC, were those caps taken with or with out expansion pack..

I definately thought the PS1 version looked better than the N64, although the PC version is the best looking one ive played ( I havent tried the DC or Cube versions)

I d rather have blur and trilinear filtering than no blur and a screen of colored boxes, so you may have your views on the matter but it was an update to the existing game, namely RE2 on the PS1.

The n64 controllers kicks ass, making the game best on the n64 console as well. This is an axiom of the n64 since it has one of the best controllers ever, provided you're man enough to hold it.

The FMV sequences are artifacted but that's alright considering there are no load times when you open doors. I take artifacts (in fact Indiana Jones does too) over loading times any day, including sundays and public holidays because I am mainly a nintendo gamer. I am not used to waiting in contrast to Playstation-bred gamers.

I kindly agree with this post. =))

Maybe those talking about the ps' RE2 should take another look to the game, as the time may have cofused them. Just a guess though...

Why do you need trilinear filtering on a game which has static, 2D backgrounds? Also, I always found there to be little difference with or without the expansion pack. What specifically does it change? Does anyone know?

the way in which time confronts with matter surrounding the n64. The XBOX 360 and original XBOX are said to be based on this principle. Case in point, all three systems use unified memory architecture.

Im sorry, but I HATED controlling RE2 on N64. Resident evil games are about the only games that I actually prefer the PS controller for ( well, that and Dave Mirra BMX 1 and 2) . And for that matter, i would rather have sharp, somewhat blocky textures, than blurry, washed out textures. As far as the door loading sequences, really? They are only like 5 seconds long! To each his own, though, none of them could be worse than the game.com port, lol:lol:
