Anyone got the game and controller yet? how's it play, Does it live up to the hype? probably going to buy it when it comes out over here in sometime silly like march...
I got the game the day it came out "limited edition version sold in gamestop" it is kind of like the halo 2 limited edition, but the box is not metal, is just a red metal box with re4 painted in gray and inside it the retail version, a little booklet with info about the re games and some "Limiited Edition Laser Cel" that comes " which is sealed in some bag and has a certificate of authenticity xD sais 27698 of 48000 :smt014. The game play is really good, is a lot better than the other ones, and i have also noticed that this one is a little different that the preview version that was given for free with the preorder of the game "got 2 " overall, it was worth the wait, import it
Tried the controller with the game at work. Unfortunatly, it feels like I am playing the game with a piece of wood with some buttons taped on it. Anyways, the game is EXTREMELY good (Only downside is the hold B button for running and the controls, which are a pain in the ass), but it is a definate buy.
Here are some scans of the so called """""limited edition""""" :smt042 :-( edit: aparently there are different versions of the cel
Got it yesterday, and let me say that the game is awesome. Gone is the bullshit 'first-person' control scheme in favor of one that is, how you say... USABLE. The other notable addition to the controls is this really interesting A button usage that combines the Active Event thing from Shenmue and the context A button from the newer Zelda games. The graphics and sounds are amazing, and I'm just basically getting a level of enjoyment that I have never gotten from a Resident Evil game before except, oddly enough, Gun Survivor. :smt043 What my inarticulate friend is trying to say here is that it is a rather nice quality tin (unlike the Halo 2 LE 'tin') which contains the retail version of the game, a limited edition laser-etched cel of the cover, and a nifty mini-artbook/backstory guide. It actually IS a fairly limited edition, unlike most game releases which claim to be so - it was only distributed by Gamestop stores, and was preorder only, meaning you can no longer buy it from their website and presumably the retail stores as well - compare this to the Halo 2 LE that you can pick up anywhere for just $5 more.
