I don't really like lan parties..... Plus you have to bring your pc and shit so that would be a hassle. How come they have all the lights off? If I'm on the computer for over an hour with the lights off it hurts my eyes.
i have shuted off the sunlight 99% of the year from my computer room i cant have the sun reflecting on my monitor THAT hurts my eyes =) if you want to see something on your screen you shouldnt have the stadium flooding lights on u should get perfect dark =) dreamhack was in sweden and is in the guiness book of records for the biggest lan party i think
Well maybe something like a soft lamp light behind the monitor so that it doesnt affect the monitor light but also doenst strain your eyes.
NASA is nothing, but Dream Hack is that like the danish The Party ? with demo contests and the likes ?
I think Halo would do well if they had "big-as-MMORPG world levels" and be able to have thousands of players in a HUGE war-like setting. With maybe 4 divisions or 2. That would be crazy, fun, surreal, and awesome. Not just Halo, but any FPS would do.
hmmm maybe we all should meet at a lan party of those who could make it with ease ? and then have a little assembler corner from around the world ?
aaargh come one don´t be afraid of going to Denmark ;-) just save some money up in advance and you will have an experience for a life time with the cool dude behind the pc screen here 12 km from the Capital of Denmark
it is called Danish or how we say it dansk (dansk is the danish name) aka det danske sprog (det = the, danske = danish, sprog = language) anyway the most people in Denmark speaks english as a secondary language and me ? well... i try hard to pronounce the english language correct.(although i understand it better than i speak it but don´t worry)
Do you know where Dequeen, Arkansas is, Gaijin? We go to Texarkana a lot, but maybe not so much anymore since our town finally got a Gamestop. We sometimes joke about our smaller towns around us, too. Halo: year 2565 Horatio, Arkansas, actually gets a *regular* Wal-mart.
I was thinking German. Sorry don't have around $500 to fly to Denmark to meet someone I met on a forum. :smt082
