So we recently got one these in at work and I bought it for a bank breaking $2. From what I've read you control d-pad movements by moving the arm up, down, and from side to side. Basically what I want to know is was this good for anything? Basically the only thing I could think of is for fat person sitting in a chair that is barely mobile enough to move their arm around to play rpgs. =P

Also just out of curiosity anyone know the rarity of these? I've never seen it before and I figure it probably wasn't too popular back in the day.

Haha holy shit I remember those! Never personally used one, I shunned it actually. But it sure left an imprint in my memory, since obviously memorys of lé terriblé power glove come back instantly. I have only ever seen one once in a little game store, back in the 90s...

It looks more ugly then I remembered it though.

In any case, nice find on that one lol. Bad peripherals are always great to torture one self. But you havent actually tryed it yet?! Break your fingers and report back with a badly written post because you had to use speech-control.

if i remember right, they scrapped the "move the hand up to move up" etc. and it's basically a controller on a glove.

Don't ever put it on, the only thing that piece of shit is good for is giving your RSI.

Back in the day that thing got absolutely horrible reviews & for good reason however those poor people who paid £40 for the fun of destroying their wrist. However at $2 it make a interesting torture device :)

It's pure CRAP... I have one for N64 still mint in conditions and boxed as I barely used it. It is very uncomfortable and difficult to control and definitevely not worth the price back in the day as Importaku said, but for $2 it's a bargain :p

Well I actually tried it out today. Played Marvel Super Heroes and Mega Man X4. Good god this thing really starts to hurt your wrist. In MSH I got a few hits in on the person I was playing lol. Surprisingly in Mega Man X4 I got through the intro stage as Zero. I could maybe see using it to play an rpg where you are being really lazy and don't need quick movement.
