Recent rise in Earthbound snes fakes.

Why is this game so popular, is it that good? I was working at Software ECT when it came out, but I didn't have a SNES at the time. It looked like a normal RPG to me. What makes this game so special?

The story, music and everything else, but the gameplay is amazing.

Might be fun to buy a bunch of these and narc out the fakes.

Have any of you guys played the Wii U Virtual Console version of Earthbound? i'm curious because on that one is rated T for Teen & kinda shocked me when i'd first found out! is it based on the Japanese version of Mother 2 by anychance?

 

I don't believe so its just esrb ratings are alot tighter now, because of the whole gun scapegoat. Look, crazy and evil people use to be sent to asylums now most asylums are closed down so these people walk as free as you and I.
