Steam has an indy game pack, and buried in it is an amazing game! RECETTEAR This is such an awesome game, you run an item shop in an rpg dungeon town, hire people to go into dungeons and get items to sell. You can buy high end armor and weapons and loan them to them while in the dungeon. Mark up the prices , press the limits of what they will pay. CAPITALISM HO!!!! Insanely fun and only $4.99 as part of an indy game pack. You must must try the demo and get this game it's that fun. Also, Defense grid is $2.50 and it's an insanely fun game as well.
While I agree 100% with the wording "Recettear with extra games", I think you could at least have mentioned which other games are included: And Yet It Moves Gish (Seriously, again? I must've already bought this 3 or 4 times, in various bundles... At least it's not "World of Goo" this time) Jolly Rover Puzzle Agent Also, linkage.
Just bought it, will try it later tonight. Damn you Steam and your insane deals, I've probably spent $200 since June on like $500 worth of games. Thanks for the heads up.
Humble bundle gave me these as well. lol. Luckily i was able to receive the sources of these games. Which hopefully are still on my backup drive. ughh. Another Indy game that doesn't come to Linux. Shame.
Thanks for the heads up. I have been interested in this game for a while and I like adding to my Steam library when these deals come up.
Okay, offer's over. They put up another indie bundle, this time including World of Goo! GROAN! Also included is VVVVVV, so at least it's not all bad...
I'm pretty sure they'll do that pretty soon too, Valve really likes to get some quick cash on their older titles and they already had CS:S at 75% off on the first day. I wouldn't even be too surprised if they offered the whole Valve anthology at 50% off or more right before christmas.
They put up another indie bundle again, this time with Cogs, Droplits, Puzzle Dimension (Tempted to buy solely because of this, haven't tried it yet but reminds me a lot of Kula World which I loved), Shatter and Tidalis. Also on sale: World of Goo! :banghead: Kinda easy to miss: They're also offering a 12-pack (for gifting copies to others) of Osmos for $20, well twelve copies are a bit much imho but it's a nice gift idea anyways if you know a couple of casual gamers. (And a good way for them to tie some new users to their platform...) APE: Orange Box (including TF2) is $7.50 right now, I guess this is as good a price as you're going to get this time.
