Ok Im thinking of getting some more Wii games,I just would like your opinions on some good games you played.I have already played Zelda,Wii Sports,DBZ,COD3,Red Still and Madden 07.Im thinking about getting Wario Smooth Moves but is there any other cool games to play.
sadly, game-wise the wii is a big disappointment beside zelda, i consider the lineup as empty.... maybe it's a trick from nintendo to have more people buy VC games?
What he said. You're best bet is buying a few VC games to hold you over till April when Super Paper Mario is released. Other options are Sonic Wii wich is getting decent scores and SSX Blur does not look half bad (but probably will be dull in a week). --edit-- Don't Buy WARIO!!! It's a great game but a total rip off for $50. Wait till you find it for $30. You will have the game beat in 3-6 hours.
Trauma Center is a lot of fun. It adds different difficulties to the DS one, which I found to be a bit on the difficult side. It's sort of like a puzzle action game, uses the remote quite nicely in several cases. Wario Ware is fun for a while, but the multiplayer is only available with one wiimote passed around between you and other players. It can get annoying to do after a while.
Rayman was supposed to be 480p, but the coders supposedly forgot to include it. OUCH. Anyhow, I'm on the verge of even selling Twilight Princes (Read: not a Zelda guy, and it's not a horrible game, it's just not MY game). The upcoming year will have bonafide hits for sure, however.
If you can play Japanese games the following area MUST ! Excite Trucks (Play to get all golds and the bonus tracks) Zelda Densha De Go Shinkansen (At last a Densha De Go game that goes past my house !) Dragonball Sparking Fire Emblem (If you like that sort of game) Sonic and the magic rings or what ever it's called. People who have bought it over at NTSC-UK are giving it quite a lot of praise. then grab yourself a few Game Cube titles Bio Hazard 4 is a MUST HAVE ! F-Zero GX Bio Hazard 0 etc.. And then there are a few great Virtual Console titles to get. The Wii is feeding my gaming needs for sure. Yakumo
Hmmm... VC Picks Gunstar Heros Bonk Super Mario World Wii Picks Excite Truck is a really fun racing experience, but its pretty short, its a great rental Sonic and the secret rings, is a good game, its a bit hard to 'get into' b/c you have to build you exp. points to really define your experience. The controls work great for me. As for a game you need, I'd say Wii Play, first off its like 10$ when you consider it comes with a controller and its just alot of fun. The games are as basic as you can get and its a dull experience for single player. You have to make sure that you have a good buddy with you when you first break open the game or you may loathe it forever. While the games are basic their fun with another person. Ping Pong is a blast and the control is spot on the shooting game is great. Me and my buddies have played that thing like a 50 times now and its still fun. Its shooting ducks and targets, with really good accuracy... whats wrong with that Then the find mii game, which is also great its like a good interactive where's waldo game. And definitely pick up some cube games thats what I'm doing as they are insanely cheap now used. I reccomend (In order of my favs) Starfox Adventures I don't care what anybody says, this game was great, one of my favorites of all time. Great Graphics (some of the best on cube), great story, great gameplay. I've beat it multiple times and I still love it Metroid Prime/Metroid Prime 2 Animal Crossing This is a great game, but its a real time sucker, but its again great. Resident Evil (the remake), loved this game haven't got around to the others yet, but this was a blast Pikmin 2 Sonic Adventure 2:Battle This was a really fun game, the chao garden alone is worth the purchase. And unlike most critics claim the "battle part" really does add alot to the experience. The multiplayer was addictive and racing your friends through levels with it may tire was fun and brings back good high school memories. Ikaruga Super mario sunshine Why is this my last pick? admittingly its just not a sequel to mario 64, It was alot of fun,but meh the god damn piantas jsut pissed me off and I really didn't like the water pack. It was fun, but not as fun as everything else. PS: I did'nt include TWW b/c zelda on wii is out and sometimes its good for a little break in between zeldas
Cool, some pretty good games all of you have mentioned.Ok I wil get Excite Truck and Wii Play and Sonic.I do have some Gamecube games, just need to dig them out.And to Yakumo, well I have Dragonball Z Sparking Neo for the PS2,and I have the american version for the Wii,I just cant stand the american music on there, the japanese original music is so much better.Fire Emblem looks pretty fun,I'll just wait until the american release and then pick it up.And I have Resident Evil 4 for the PS2,I beat it a couple of times, should I really get the Gamecube version,I heard its so much better.Well thanks for all of your help guys.
They changed the music on the US Dragon ball?? You poor sods. No more Chala Head Chala (what ever that means) ??? You should get the GC version of Bio Hazard 4. It's miles ahead of the PS2 version in every department. You'll be surprised at how good a Cube game can look. I know I was. Yakumo
Ok I'll try and pick up RE4 for the Gamecube then. And yes it is a shame the japanese music is not on the american version of Dragonball Z ,I heard the licensing for the japanese music would cost to much to get it on the american version.
I can't believe that nobody mentioned Metal Slug Anthology yet! It's pretty cheap (I think I got it for $30) and it's really 7 games. It was a system seller for me. That, and VC. Granted, $5 for NES and $8 for Genesis/SNES games a little too much - c'mon, $5 for Soccer ?! - but I really like Bomberman and R-type for TGFX. Definitely pick up F-Zero, both for SNES and GC. Skip Ikaruga unless you're really into shooters - it's really hard to find that game for a decent amount of money. Sonic for Genesis is a good pick.
Yes, Metal Slug Anthology is a must if you're a fan of the series. It's a shame it doesn't support the classic controller.
Metal slug is cool but for me I am going with the PSP version insted so I can kill people while on my way into work. Wario Ware Twisted is even better (second gba one). It actualy did moton controlls right (and all it supported was rotating left or right in 2d (no 3d)).
I've played most of the US released Wii games and i'd pick: Excite Trucks - Still fun in multiplayer after a few pub: Trauma Centre - Very cool 1st time round anyway - I missed the DS version and ws impressed by this! Zelda - If you have the time - Sadly I havent! SSX Blur - Looks good, hopefully getting today. Agree with Yakumo on the Gamecube titles, FZero GX and the resi games (at least 0 & 4) are a must! I did purchase a few of the VC games but tbh I havent played them much and doubt I'll buy anymore.
