I'm looking to get a new wired PS1 or PS2 controller. I checked ebay for official ones and the selection was not great and the prices a bit too much. Are there any other sites where I might be able to get a new official PS1 or PS2 controller? I'm in the Europe if that makes any difference.

Outside of the offical ones, are there any you would recommend? If you could post a link to somewhere they can be purchased too that would be great.

The last one looks very similar to a wireless controller I have which is quite nice. Anybody used that one?

The dual shock ones with indented sticks. Expensive but perfect.

Or get a PS1/PS2 controller extension cable, which will let you use the Logitech Cordless Action without having the receiver block the memory card port.

    The SCPH-1150/SCPH-1180 "Dual Analog" controller?

pelican makes rather good ps2 controllers
they also OEM them for gamestop so a
ps2 controller labeled gamestop in a oval above the start select is a pelican controller

I'd only ever recommend the official controllers, personally. There were some REALLY shoddy third party controllers out there. Even the better ones weren't as good as the official ones. We actually only bought in second hand official controllers usually.

I see official ones on eBay buy it now for £5, £8..... what's wrong with those prices? Second hand, I assume. The price of them new is £20 and you may be able to still get them for that from shops or websites such as Amazon.

Are you sure they are official one's? I'm just asking cause I've bought fake one's that were supposed to be original DS2 controllers. I even emailed Sony here in Greece about the issue but they didnt pay much attention

Here are pics i took from the fake one

    And the original sony one

And yes, I would oly go with official one's. Third party dont come close to the versatility of the original one in pro gaming situations or when playing any game at a high level (fighters, shooters)

I would always go official for controllers and memory cards. I know more than one person who back in the day fried their PS controller ports with shoddy third party accessories.

The cex ones will be original, yes. Second hand, of course, but original.
