    Hello!
Was curious if anyone has recommended seller who deals with high quality if not authentic parts for the DS Lite? (how would one know if authentic.......*ponders*o_O)
Parts interested are DS Lite digitizer/ touch screen top, rubber pads, and maybe the top screen lens cover (if anyone has suggestions on removing lighter lines on transparent plastic, that would be helpful and appreciated as an added suggestion).
There are so many sellers on ebay and there are other sites. I have no idea how to judge or who would be best.

You could always try using parts from a completely dead DS lite. Those would be authentic if they weren't replaced before.

As new replacement parts go; its going to be more than likely Chinese made. I've used them with no issues.
Or as MonkeyBoyJoey recommended - DS Lite's that are available as parts/repair.

Repair parts are available from Richs PSX Parts; I've ordered from them before. Reputable seller.

Okay, thanks for the responses. Just a side question, does anyone know what the way to judge which would be the better quality of the parts? Like for instance, there is a least two different rubber pad replacement types (white and soft vs gray and looks more OEM). So I guess besides reading reviews, it would be just try and hope for the best?

The original DS lites sell for so little its hardly worth taking the time to repair one. I threw away all my boxes of spares (from when I was repairing them while they were current) as they just werent worth anything.

I would just buy a good quality used one and be done with it.

why throw them away? Just sell them for cheap on forums or ebay, they will go.

Free Time and the space back is worth more than the small value.

You can buy a working ds lite for £10-15 easy enough.
