Recompress RARC files?

I was playing around with a GC ISO and I used RARCdump.exe to extract some files.

I found some files and modified them.I want to see if my changes will have an effect on the game.

I was wondering is there was an application that I could use to recompress them into a RARC?

One of them is mine - the first I think - and only packs to a depth of two folders, the other does unlimited folder depth.

Thanks so much! I have been going crazy trying to out guess that Gamecube's compression methods.

Protip: A U8 compressed file CANNOT be used instead of a RARC.

 

thank you!! now i can finally repack those unused models in sms and test them in game.

 

well so far so good i was able to re pack an extracted rarc directory back to a arc file but now i need to find a way to re pack it as szs file
