True but i think i'm more impressed Nintendo did it in the first place then just throwing the game on there and being done with it.

I must admit, I'm quite interested in this special version of SMB. There must be more differences other than all the '?' blocks having 25 on them.

eh, it's actually a straight up port of the snes game. Which is sad. They really should do an all in 1 mario collection up to sunshine on the GCN.
At least now we know why it was never released on VC... Nintendo sure knows how to squeeze blood from a stone.
