Have you drafted a legal letter we can all use and perhaps have posted up on AO as an available document whereby we can all make a complaint... or would you, as legal advisor start charging for that then? ;-)
You can bitch against anything in europe as long as it doesnt means touching the eurocrats funds. If it's against a private enterprise then lucky you... I thought you were a duke man
I have 3 fat ps3's i paid 5 pounds each for which were broken and out of warranty. £15 could well turn to £285
I don't think Amazon should of gave the refund but Sony themselves. Think about it? This could really harm small Indie game retailers. Sure, Amazon have the money but that doesn't make them responsible. Sony removed the feature so Sony should foot the bill. Yakumo
I'm not sure how far I'll get with the infamous Dixons Store Group, but I'm going to write them a letter anyway. I have my original receipt so we'll see how I get on.
Especially considering how little profit retailers make, in general, from hardware these days. The camera store I work(ed?) at makes about 15-20 bucks on a ~$200 camera sale.
Yeah retail sucks, I would love to have one or two oldschool VG stores, but if gamestool doesnt kill me, those slim margins will do the trick. That and DoD: considering the business is in the games, once everything goes appstore-like it will be the final blow for small videogame stores...
