Hi guys, Can someone tell me a method that let me play Original Xbox (old version) backups on a modded Xbox 360? Thanks a lot.
i have delved into it and found that it plays quite poorly , the emulator that Microsoft or whoever wrote is lacking in more code. After trying a few games i game up on it , you can try it if you like but you may be disappointed like i was. i used Aurora to launch the XBOX games btw....................
Search around for the hacked compatibility files as they should add a little more support for certain titles, but it will not let you play every game sadly... With most of the ones it does allow you to play not running very smoothly as the user above mentioned
Thank you guys. I hoped that all games would work perfectly but sadly they wont. So the best way is to go for a modded Original Xbox.
You have to use the Mullet360 program to make Xbox original backed up games play on your modded 360. But you can only play your current region. So if you get a PAL game, it won't work on your NTSC modded 360. That's what makes a modded original xbox great for playing these older games since it can be made region free. Sorry for bumping this older thread, I just wanted to add my 2 cents.
