Region Mod For SEGA CD Side of a JVC X'EYE - Need Diagrams & Instructions

So I'm looking into installing a region switch on the JVC X'EYE and there seems to be NO documentation on how this can be done.

I have a chip burned that contains the bios for the japanese equivalent ( the wondermega) but have no idea what to actually do with it.

Can anyone here please shed some light on the subject? Anyone with charts, experience doing this, ANYTHING would help as I do not know what chip on the board houses the bios.

 

Multi-bios mods aren't needed any more, just go to http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27562 download the X'eye region free bios, burn it to a compatible eeprom and do a streight swop with the one in your current unit, no diagram or switches needed.

 

This might be a stupid question but which chip on the motherboard contains the bios?

 

There isn't a convenient EPROM sized/shape mask ROM on the X'EYE. It is not as easy as removing one and installing another.

Would be lovely if it was as I'm trying to do this myself.
