But i already have a famicom color gba (^_^)

I fancy one with a proper backlit screen so it dosent wash out all the colours like the sp does. (I already have a ds before you suggest i play my gba games on that)

I may well be buying one - perhpas not on launch, but at some point.
How can people on this forum criticise for buying hardware which plays games available on other systems, when many people have dev hardware/beta's/gd-r's etc. or general equipment which they cannot (due to lack of knowledge) use at all?
If you criticise people for buying hardware that plays software they already have, then you should also be criticising people who:
-Own more than one computer (they all do the same thing, right?)
-Own Anything they cannot use (be it Dev hardware, software for consoles they don't have, or unreleased hardware with no software)

You tell them mate ! If Importaku wants one then let him buy one. Like he said, it's his money so he can do what he wants. If I was as big of a Nintendo fan as Importaku I'd be doing the same thing.

Its a sticker he has placed on his ds. Decal kits look horrible on handhelds.

    I'll buy one when they're 30 bucks.

  11. Stuff like that shouldn't be a problem since the screen resolution is exactly the same as a GBA, just with smaller pixels. I don't even see any reason why text would be hard to read, as long as your eyes are good, of course.

Yep, same here. Actually, I'll probably wait for $20. Shouldn't be too long even.

You took those words from my mouth, man.

And believe me, it will be 30 bucks in a matter of months. I, for one, am still getting a DS first, though.

I'm going to be pissed when I buy one of those for 30$ and accidently leave it in my pocket and it gets washed.

Is the screen unscratchable?!?!?!? dammit why can't they make a handheld with a scratch resistant screen?!?!

It depends on the game. Games with large text wouldn't be a problem, but games that try to cram as much text as possible on the screen with a small text format will look..bleh. Like I said, i'm sure many of the games should be OK, but I do think some of the games will have distortion.

Na is not mine. Im not stupid as to buy one in launch, Ill maybe, MAYBE wait till it goes down to 30 or 20$ in the bins.

And yeah, that DS is signed by miyamoto, this guy is from a big games site, so i wont be surprised if nintendo send him the micro, 4 free.

I had to admit it: this is the first case of PWNAGE Ive seen since im here

Kudos dude, but u have to admit that the micro is a mainstream piece of hardware, when the devkits are what you would call rare

I'll probably get hated for saying this but you Americans are cheap bastards. All I ever read is "I'm not paying $XXX" . You guys should think yourselves lucky compared to the poor Europeans.

That is also true Yakumo, condsidering how more expensive gasoline is in Europe than it is in USA. If I'm not mistaken, it can only play GBA games, not GB and GBColor?

One good thing this might do is drop the price of the regular GBA, and GBA SP down further. A used GBASP costs $60, I'm hoping it drops down less than $50 and the regular GBA from $30 to $20 as well as the GBC, and GBPockets down further in $10range.
